As this is my first blog entry, which naturally will be about me being selected (yay) and posting my fist blog entry, I will keep it brief. My parents always said I’d win a dream application ideas competition one day. Looks like they were right! God bless their pirate bones. I will be elaborating on my idea in due course. I’ve got some interesting ideas for a different approach to music sequencing which came from a bizzare game idea i had once.
With your help I’d like to clarify what exactly is the aim of this app. What can it provide to casual users (think photo booth) and power users (users of high end production software). Does it have potential for fun live performance? Most importantly I’d really like this app to shine as something immediate and fun. Think of kids in the apple store playing with PhotoBooth or Comic Life.
I’m also not entirely concerned with the technology behind the app at this point. What is most important is the user experience and what it provides.
Also, from the currently announced finalists, it seems this app would be a nice companion to the Puppetry app. Another thing to think about.
