Richard Whitelock
Hello, my name is Richard Whitelock. I’m 27 and live in the slightly crusty, beige city of Oxford in the UK.
When I was a young I wanted to be a zoologist like ‘Hal’ & ‘Roger’ in the ‘adventure’ series of books by Willard Price. But then I discovered videogames & computers. Whoops.
So onward I ventured to study Computer Animation at Bournemouth University on the South coast of England. Which lead me to spend the last 6 years in the videogames industry where I currently work as an
artist. My position is now part-time by request which allows me to casually pursue other ventures. Mainly Photography, Animation and staring wistfully out of the window.
However I’m also an aspiring musician and although my production skills are ok, my musical ability isn’t. Which leads me to my idea which I hope lots of people can enjoy in the future.
As for all things Apple. I got my first mac, an ibook about 4-5 years ago after a short holiday from owning a computer. I haven’t looked back since (figuratively, not literally).
All said and done however, I think my main area of expertise is Noodles. Although I am partial to tea & toast. My main weakness is probably in writing self descriptive passages and not having a definitive opinion either way about my preferred milk type. Skimmed? Semi? Normal? I’m not really fussed.
