And I’m one of the last three. Wow. How cool just to be involved.
But, I’d like you to take a second, really read through all of the other finalists. They’re so freaking good.
I have some thoughts about development and design…as well as user interfaces and integration…but not today.
No, Today is my first blog post. I just want to talk about an idea.
My idea is totally, completely about implementing David Allen’s Book, Getting Things Done.
It’s just a system of how your arrange what to do next. GTD is the best productivity system out there.
iGTD is meant to be the implementation of the best productivity system.
The problem is, you don’t have a system you trust. And GTD (Getting things done) is that system. I don’t care if you vote or not for my app (that’s a total lie. I want this app so bad.)
But, If you struggle at all with all the commitments in your life, this book will help you move your life forward.
Sounds cultish, doesn’t it?
Well, do you have any of these?
- Macintosh
- iPod
- Tivo
Aren’t each of these cultish? Why do you own them. It’s not because it’s “cool”. It’s because it’s an elegant solution. It’s interface, it’s design, makes so much sense, that you can’t remember life before it.
Ever explain them to your friends/family…..even some random guy on an elevator? That’s how good GTD is.
And that’s what I want iGTD to be. So good, that you buy a macintosh just to own this application.
