Just thought I’d do some shameless promotion of a web site I’ve put together and been running, which I hope many have used and have found useful.

Madrid, Spain

Well I´ve just arrived in Madrid by train from Sevilla (via Cordoba). So much amazing architecture.

What would be fantastic with Destinations would be find places that link by train and a link to train timetables between 2 places.

Some of the additional ideas I´d like to see include a day/night map showing where the sun is and isnt - I know other apps do this but it´s an additional feature that could find it´s way into Destinations.

Haven´t really had time to think about UI as yet, doubt I´ll have to time until I return to Australia.

I’m in Salzburg right now. Have been for a couple of days. Did the “sound of music” tour which seems to be a must when here.

Head off to tomorrow to Spain, first stop there is Barcelona.

Might not get a chance in Spain to post, Austria has been fairly good with internet access in the hotels.

Will keep you posted. And thanks for the feedback, great to hear other opinions and ideas.

I’m now in Graz in Austria so on the FREE hotel computer - but just my luck someones walked in wanting to use the computer.
